Our Story

Inflate Africa launched in 2009 as the pioneer of inflatable advertising in East Africa. Since that time we have diversified to become a one-stop shop for all advertising  products, which also includes promotional items.

Inflate Africa primarily serves corporate and small-to-medium sized companies that are keen on using advertising products to build their brands by complementing their marketing campaigns and activities with our products.

Inflate Africa is passionate about bringing your brand to life through our products both promotional items and inflatables. Additionally Inflate Africa supplies inflatable products for leisurely use, such as bouncing castles, inflatable games and water toys.

Tyler Schooley – Co-Founder, President
Tyler is an American social entrepreneur who has a passion for using for-profit business ventures to empower individuals and build relationships in developing countries. He was instinctively drawn to Uganda and moved to Kampala in 2008, friendless, and with a simple vision to “do business” and “impact people.” His big-picture vision is to launch socially proactive businesses in Africa that are funded by a mix of local and American capital. Tyler graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma State University (USA) with a B.S. Finance degree. He resides in Kampala, Uganda.

Stella Katushabe – Co-Founder, Director Of Sales (Uganda)
Stella has over a decade of experience in marketing and brand management. She has served as the brand specialist for one of the largest logistics organizations in Uganda while also serving as a volunteer for a number of non-profit organizations where she implemented major marketing initiatives. Before launching Inflate Africa, Stella worked with Packaging Technologies, Graphics Systems and The New Vision. Stella received a Bachelor of Industrial & Fine Arts from Makerere University. She lives in Kampala, Uganda with her family.

Jeanette Gitau – Co-Founder, Managing Director (Kenya)
Jeanette is an accomplished and dedicated marketing and public relations professional with ten years of experience in coordinating, planning and supporting daily operational marketing strategies, public relation functions and project implementation.Her long-term objective is to apply all her experience and knowledge to contribute to sustainable wealth creation for the socioeconomic transformation of Kenya. Her passion lies in mentoring and impacting the youth and ensuring value addition to the people interconnected in her life. She is a holder of a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication from Kampala International University and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Daystar University (Nairobi).

Francis Lubuulwa – General Manager (Uganda)
Francis recently returned to Uganda after graduating magna cum laude from Pepperdine University (USA) with a B.A. in Organizational Communication and minor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. He initially went to pursue higher education in the United States, but his passion for economic development and empowerment for Africa ultimately drove him back home. Before returning, Francis was featured in the 2013 issue of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. Francis takes pride in his philosophy of zero tolerance for mediocrity, and he is excited about the future and potential of Inflate Africa.
